OUTAGAMIE COUNTY — The Wisconsin State Patrol pulled over a driver last week on I-41 in Outagamie County with a highly unusual towing setup.

Now, they’re using the incident to educate drivers about what is allowed and what’s not when towing with your vehicle.

“Last week, an inspector noticed this vehicle combination driving on I-41 in Outagamie County,” the State Patrol Tweeted. “#DYK? Without a permit and a few exceptions, only one vehicle can be towed behind another motor vehicle.”

What inspectors found was a flatbed hauling a car, with an SUV towed behind it. Attached to the SUV was a trailer, making it clearly an illegal setup.
