KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Activities Department on Wednesday announced the promotion of Mike Jenkins to Kaukauna High School Head Baseball Coach.
Jenkins currently teaches math, and is a former KHS baseball player and Kaukauna High School graduate.
He served as a varsity assistant this past season.
“We are excited for the future of Ghost Baseball under his leadership!” read a post from the Kaukauna Ghosts on Twitter.
In a Q&A on the Kaukauna baseball Facebook page, Jenkins said his favorite baseball memory was throwing a no-hitter against FVA rival Kimberly his senior year in high school.
Kaukauna finished last in the Fox Valley Association in 2022 with a 5-13 conference record, and an 8-16 record overall.
