APPLETON — Appleton police are publicizing a spree of BB gun shootings in the city in hopes of getting tips to solve the crimes.
The Appleton Police Department has handled more than 40 damage-to-property cases involving BB guns since last December, according to a post on its Facebook page.
“This type of damage has impacted our entire city and is extremely dangerous behavior,” read the post.
Investigators believe the BB guns are being shot from a vehicle causing a large amount of damage in a very short period of time.
