KAUKAUNA — Dick’s Drive-In opened today, marking what many in Kaukauna call the official beginning of spring.
The Kaukauna landmark posted today on Facebook, “Today’s the day.”
WFRV TV in Green Bay was on hand today for a story on the season opening.
The journalists were joined by a steady stream of loyal customers.
“You have to come try their mini-maxis, their cheeseburgers. I go for their root beer malts – there’s none like it,” Lori Krahn, of Kaukauna told the station.
Kaukauna Mayor Tony Penterman, an opening day regular, posted to social media, “Oh How I Missed You!!”
