KAUKAUNA — The race for Kaukauna Area School District Board of Education is the only race on the ballot in Kaukauna Tuesday.

There will be eight candidates running for three seats on the board. The candidates as they will be placed on the ballot are:

  • Charles West
  • Melissa Kurey
  • Chad Berken – incumbent
  • Samantha Hoffer
  • Larry W. Coons
  • Christine Bouressa – incumbent
  • Kathryn Breitzman – incubment
  • Samantha Grimh

WHERE THE CANDIDATES STAND ON THE ISSUES

Because of the number of candidates, there will be a primary on Tuesday Feb. 15, 2022.

Voters can choose up to three candidates, with the top six moving on to the April 5, 2022 general election.

All other Kaukauna races are uncontested.

Polls are open Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022 from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Voter ID is required: Learn more HERE.

All districts and wards should vote at the Municipal Services Building.

Eligible residents are able to register to vote or change their address at their polling place on Tuesday by bringing proof of residence.

Committee and Common Council meetings will be pushed to Wednesday, Feb. 16 due to the election.
