KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Public Library is looking for makers, crafters, artists, musicians, writers or woodworkers to become its first Creator-In-Residence.

Through this position, sponsored by the Bank of Kaukauna, the Kaukauna Public Library aims to connect community members with one another and a unique artistic point of view. 

The Creator-in-Residence program is seeking an individual to create and share their work and help library patrons explore a creative pursuit through open office hours, workshops and displays.

The residency runs from June 13 2022 – August 5 2022.  Resident can expect to spend 3-5 hours teaching, 6-10 hours preparing for workshops, and 2-3 hours in optional drop in work time.

The Creator-in-Residence program is made possible thanks to our community partner and sponsor, The Bank of Kaukauna, an active supporter of local arts and culture programs and initiatives in our community.  Creators will receive a $500 stipend and up to $250 in reimbursement for supplies used for workshops and personal projects. All workshops will be offered to the public for free.

Submissions will close on March 1. Applicants must be residents of the Fox Cities and be at least 18 years old.
