APPLETON — The Wisconsin Office of Emergency Management is partnering with Boys & Girls Clubs across the State of Wisconsin to get free N95 masks out to the community.

Mask distribution began today at the Boys & Girls Club of Appleton and Menasha’s Boys & Girls Club. There are no eligibility requirements, and the Club will give each family a bag of 20 masks.

Community members can pick up masks at the main entrances of the Boys & Girls Club of Appleton (160 S. Badger Ave.), and Menasha (160 Racine St.) between 8 am – 3 pm starting Thursday, January 27, 2022. The Club will distribute masks each weekday until they are gone. Those who need masks but cannot pick them up during these hours may call 920-731-0555 to make other arrangements.

In addition to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Appleton and Menasha, we will also distribute masks directly to Club families in several area schools with school-based Boys & Girls Clubs. These locations include Badger Elementary, Columbus Elementary, Foster Elementary, Highlands Elementary, Little Chute Elementary, Kaleidoscope Academy, James Madison Middle, Little Chute Intermediate, and Wilson Middle School.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley have been helping young people, and their families navigate times of tragedy, crisis, and stress for over 20 years. Throughout 2020 and 2021, the Club committed, more than ever, to do whatever it takes to ensure Club kids, their families, and the larger community have the support they need to push through and remain resilient in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
