BUCHANAN TOWNSHIP — Authorities are looking for a hit-and-driver who allegedly struck and critically injured a town of Buchanan man.

The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday released a photo of the type of vehicle that may be involved.

Outagamie County deputies responded about 11:30 p.m. Saturday to a report of a pedestrian being struck on County Highway CE near Eisenhower Drive in the Town of Buchanan.

When they arrived at the scene, deputies found a 35-year-old man from Buchanan with life-threatening injuries.

He was transported to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.

According to the sheriff’s office, the vehicle that struck the man did not stop.

Various vehicle parts were located and deputies suspect the man was possibly struck by a 2014 – 2017 Mazda 6 sedan. The color of the vehicle is not known.
