KIMBERLY — A second Kimberly High School student involved in an Oct. 4 motorcycle crash has died, according to the Kimberly School District.

NBC 26 reports that the district notified parents today that Peyton Schorer, 17, died from her injuries.

Our sincere condolences go out to Peyton’s friends and family. A loss of life is always tragic and is especially so when that life is so young. We send our thoughts and prayers to the Schorer family during this difficult time.

According to a social media post, Schorer died Tuesday and, “is continuing to bless others as they receive her gift of organ donation.”

Schorer and Anthony Douglas, 17, both of Combined Locks, were involved in the crash on Oct. 4 on Buchanan Road near DeBruin Road in Combined Locks.

Douglas died from his injuries later at the hospital.

According to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, the driver lost control of the motorcycle and entered a ditch line where it crashed.

According to his obituary, Douglas was currently a senior at Kimberly High School where he previously participated in wrestling and football. He loved country music, his Cheyenne truck, being outside, hunting, fishing, and cheering on Kimberly sports teams.

His funeral is set for Saturday.

Visitation will be held at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 beginning at 9 a.m. until time of Mass at noon.
