GREEN BAY — Three Kaukauna Ghosts have been nominated for the 2021 Northeast Wisconsin High School Sports Awards. They are:

Spring nominees

  • Anna Fauske, track and field
  • Kally Meredith, softball
  • Coach Jeff Matczak, wrestling

Winter nominees

  • Greyson Clark, wrestling
  • Jager Eisch, wrestling
  • Chloe Van Zeeland, basketball

Fall nominees

  • Anna Fause, cross country
  • Alexa Kinas, cross country
  • Brennan Kuske, football
  • Charlie Bruecker, volleyball

The virtual event, sponsored by the Appleton-Post Crescent and other Gannett papers, is scheduled to premiere June 30 at 7 p.m. and can be seen on 10 USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin websites and Facebook pages and on our USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin YouTube channel. It will be made available to viewers on mobile, desktop and tablet devices.

Green Bay Packers quarterback and three-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers will be among a lineup of all-star presenters that also includes former University of Wisconsin standout and Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro linebacker T.J. Watt.

Five-time Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky, Olympic gold medalist and four-time World Cup skiing champion Lindsey Vonn, 2020 NFL Comeback Player of the Year Alex Smith, three-time volleyball Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh Jennings and baseball hall of famer Chipper Jones are also scheduled to present, among others.

All nominees should register at sportsawards.usatoday.com/northeastwi to reserve a complimentary gift box. Registrations are also used to send out awards for winners following the show.
