KAUKAUNA — There are now two new painted rocks hidden around the city as part of the “KKPD Hidden Rocks” hunt to encourage youngsters in the city to get out and be active this summer.

Three rocks were originally hidden early in June, but only one has been turned in so far. That rock was found by brothers Carter and Decker who found it behind a bench at Hydro Park.

Rocks No. 2 and 3 have been found, but not yet turned in for the prize. They were hidden on the Konkapot trail, and at Victor Haen Elementary.

Two new rocks were hidden this week. Here are some very broad clues, new clues will be released later in the week:

Rock #1-The sun always shines here.

Rock #4- Did you know the GPS was invented in 1973.

Rock #5- Named after the many German families who settled near here.

Once a rock is found it will be re-hidden throughout the summer.

Police ask that people be 17 or under to redeem a rock.
