MENOMONIE — Menomomie police say a concerned citizen flagged them down Friday after finding two fawns alone on the roadway.
An officer from the department near Eau Claire was able to move them to a safer location nearby so they would not be threatened by traffic.
A Facebook post shows the tiny youngsters in the back of a squad car before there safe release.
