KAUKAUNA — Sixteen Kaukauna High School music students have qualified for the 2021 state Solo & Ensemble competition this spring.
Because of restrictions related to COVID-19, the competitions have looked a little different; but modifications and online performances for the WSMA 2020-2021 Virtual Solo & Ensemble Festival have allowed these musicians to compete and receive feedback on their performances.
This year, more than 50 individuals and groups performed, and 16 have advanced to the State competition, also held virtually, with a submission deadline of May 7.
