KAUKAUNA — There will be no lottery for any grade for the 2021-2022 school year at Park Community Charter School, the district announced today.

Admissions for New Direction Learning Community have not yet been announced.

According to a Facebook post Wednesday, Park School currently is at or below the district average in all grades except 3rd and 4th grade.

Here’s the breakdown, according to Park School:

4K is two spots below the district average.

5K – We are two spots below the district average.

1st grade – We have had some movement in our 1st grade this week which will allow all current applicants to enter our school. We are now one spot below the district average.

2nd Grade – We are now at the district average with no open spots. All new applicants as of today are accepted.

3rd Grade – We are above the district average in 3rd but all students are currently attending our school so all will be accepted back next fall.4th Grade

4th grade we are one spot below the district average. We have two students who are not Park attendance area students applying for the one spot. One of the students has a sibling currently attending in another grade so they will get that spot according to our enrollment policy.

Wednesday’s governance board meeting will be live streaming on Facebook starting at 5:15.
