KAUKAUNA – Now that the calendar has turned to February, it’s time to start thinking about what has turned into one of the Fox River Valley’s biggest running events.

Celebrating it’s 10th anniversary in 2017, the Fox Firecracker 5K is a two-day festival and running event.

Registration opens Feb. 6, 2017 at 12:01 a.m.

Again this year, the UW-Madison Marching Band will perform. There also will be the race’s famous apple pie along with two days of family friendly events featuring the band Road Trip.

Run or walk 3.1 miles through scenic areas of Kaukauna and be treated to a patriotic salute along the way.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary, all finishers of the 5K and Kids Run will receive a custom medal.
