KAUKAUNA — The city of Kaukauna Engineering Department will host a public information meeting Monday regarding the upcoming south side downtown street reconstruction project.

The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. May 17, 2016 in the Community Room at City Hall.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide property owners with an update on the proposed project, including changes to street width, sidewalk width and replacement of street and decorative lighting.

Engineers also will explain proposed changes to the current parking layout.

An exhibit showing the proposed parking changes is available for viewing HERE on the home page of the City’s website at www.cityofkaukauna.com.

Representatives of the Engineering Department will be available to answer questions and listen to concerns following a short presentation at 5 p.m.

The city council is expected to review the site plan May 19, 2016 at its next meeting from Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. Engineering.
