KAUKAUNA — The North Pole Christmas Village is set to open on Friday for the 2021 holiday season.

The free-admission holiday display is located at N5207 Lemke Road, Chilton.

The goal of the North Pole Christmas Village is to change the world for the defense of disabled individuals and children and the elderly who are forgotten at Christmas, according to Troy Campbell the creator of the holiday spectacle.

The display began years ago in the backyard of Campbell’s Kaukauna home.

But after the display wrapped up in early 2020, Campbell was told by the city that his display would no longer be allowed in his yard.

City officials said the disruption to the neighborhood, traffic concerns, as well as zoning issues had become too much.

Campbell then moved the display to the Kaukauna Industrial Park for a year before finding a permanent home in Chilton.

Admission is free during the run of the event from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 12, 2021 – Jan. 2, 2022.

They also offer private showings for an admission fee, as well as Elf University, a fee event for kids.
